Arts, Culture, and Entertainment
From frontier museums to front row seats at the local theater, Williams County is where art, culture and the western prairie collide. Visit one of several area museums and historical sites that harken back to the days of the first frontier settlers to or get your fill of western-themed paintings, Native American artifacts, and even a few dinosaur fossils.
When the sun goes down, the stage lights up with music and local events. Find local theater with Entertainment, Inc. and Williston High School, which is a nationally recognized Premiere Community for Theater Education. And don't miss out on the dozens of community events throughout the county – including Williston’s annual chili cook-off extravaganza, where you can taste the best chili this side of the Missouri. Come for the history, stay for the fun, and make the most of Williams County!

Live Music
Throughout the year you can find live music at places like Slater's, the Eleven, and 4 Mile Bar, but during the summer months, the tunes really heat up with several different concert series throughout the County. Many festivals and fairs in the summer often have live music as well. Be sure to check out our Things to Do page for more information on those!
